"Choose Life" - Surviving The Storm Of Drug Addiction

  • Summary

  • When you are battling the storm of drug addiction, it is difficult to think straight and make the right choice to "choose life." The Word of God tells us in Deuteronomy 30:19, "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses .... Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" Choosing drugs over life will lead to death. According to researchers, in 2021, 98,268 people died from preventable drug overdoses.

Tune in to this episode of Survivors of the Storm to learn how Special Guest Minister Dr. Michael Mims overcame the addiction of drug and came out of the business of being a drug dealer. His addiction landed him with a 25 year sentence in prison but God had other plans for him and set him free after serving 7 years. In this episode, you will learn the powerful message God gave to Dr. Mims to tell the world, the reasons why he has started several prison ministries, and how to break the addiction of using drugs.
