Child Support and Expectations during Divorce

Child support is a hot topic in California, and more than likely throughout the U.S. and beyond. It is one of those discussions that lasts beyond the child turning 18, when child support typically ends in California. Some parents pay child support, some underpay, some fight to not have to pay, and some just outright go missing to not have to pay.

Child support, along with child custody and asset division, will bring parents back to the courtroom year after year until the child turns 18, with each parent asking either for an increase in support or a reduction in having to pay support. So the divorce struggle doesn't necessarily end upon the judges signature on the judgment of divorce.

In this episode of Until Divorce Do Us Part, Finest will be discussing child support and expectations associated with child support. She discusses the struggles in receiving and paying child support, and will discuss strategies to implement to make the idea of paying child support easier for you and your family.
