Many influencers will talk about the mindset and setting goals, the power of using the Law of Attraction and the power of positive affirmations. Influencers often state that flooding the mind with positive thoughts, ideas and actions will yield success. Seldom will you ever hear motivators or influencers talk about the deep cold and dishearted influence that an alcoholic or Narcissistic has on an individual. Searching for answers to pain, brainwashing and lack of strength to overcome those types of influences a few, especially in the motivational arena of information. Coping with the mindset that is constantly being manipulated or programmed and influenced by such individuals, such as; alcoholics and narcissists. It can be impossible; should you survive their overwhelming abuse and attacks on your character. The attacks on your emotions, mental apathy and physical strength leave most feeling helpless and unable to find a way out of their situation without feeling they are hurting the same person that is in essence destroying them. Those who suffer at the hand of Narcissistic and/or Alcoholics lend their hearts and abandon their own needs quite often in attempts to survive and earn the approval if not dependent on the abuser; which is the case for most in this scenario commonly.

    3 Things to Change Belief Mindset for Success and Overcome Negative Input

    1. Keep a journal to record thoughts, express pain and thoughts, feelings and what the abuser may be saying. This can help you to cope and overcome to retune the mind. This exercise is necessary to help you visually and consciously recognize abuse, goals, dreams, ambitions, possibilities and everything that the thoughts of your mind process.
    2. Learn about Personalities. Educating yourself about the personalities of recognized disorders and recognizing the attributes that accompany those personalities can help you to help yourself. Knowing what you are up against is the knowledge that can afford you the skills necessary to confront the truth you may be denying that others perhaps have told you. Denial is common because these individuals are masters of manipulating.
    3. Disconnecting or relocating. Separating yourself from the abuser is easier said than done. First, you must recognize if this is a personality disorder and if not, is this someone that you desire to continue suffering at their hand. This is the most difficult step in most cases since the abused becomes co-dependent and struggles with the truth. The truth of realizing that the individual they trusted with their heart does not care as deeply for them and having to accept. Then have to decide to move away from their abuser since the trust has been put at steak making it difficult to trust others.

    This podcast offers some tips and a bit of help directly from an individual who has dealt with this abuse and overcame it as well. Use this podcast to influence another option to handle manipulative, abusive and Narcissistic trauma and have all that you can conceive.
