Join Desiree & Benita, two former educators, discussing how they gained the courage to leave the classroom and begin creating the life they desire! In this week's episode, the dynamic duo talk about perspective changes and its ability to change our lives!

In the Pioneering Women segment, Malala Yousafzai is highlighted as a resilient, young activist who didn't let a whole assassination attempt stop her from what she felt called to do. Instead, she allowed this attempt on her life to shift her perspective and push her forward in her fight for women.

As they move into the episode topic, Desiree & Benita discuss the difference between perception and perspective (yes, there is a difference), the challenges of changing your perspective, and how to shift your perspective from negative to positive.

The episode closes out with a few tools and resources such as an awesome book called The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks which really helps with learning about perspective and how to shift it. We've also linked a Daily Thought Record that can help with thought pesky negative thoughts that may arise.

Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to Desire to Be Free. Found any gems in this episode? Share it with another beauty, because our goal is to liberate women all across the world. Thanks for listening! :)
