  • Over the Top (1987) Does your estranged son hate you?...win the Arm Wrestling World Championship!
    Nov 19 2024

I drive truck, break arms, and make mediocre podcasts about sports movies . It's what I love to do, it's what I do best. Being number one is everything. There is no second place. Second sucks. When all your money from Rocky has started to dry up and Brigette Nielsen wants a divorce, you better know how to make £12 Million Dollars for a movies about trucks and arm wrestling damnit!

James has never done an arm wrestle, Joe has never driven a truck, but we all know wo has a distant relationship with his son and thats just going to hit home a little bit harder during this episode! Oh well, its just setting up the Rocky series really nicely in 2025

  • Ford vs Ferrari (2019) - Furious nods of acknowledgement and hat doffing across the Atlantic
    Nov 12 2024

There's a point at 15 podcasts deep... where everything fades. The podcast becomes weightless. Just disappears. And all that's left is Joe and James talking about if a movie is any good or not.

Neither James nor Joe drive a Ford, but that is simply because they are degenerates! They do however at this point know their big end from their transmission when it comes to sports movies and this one, well she goes like the clappers. Join them as they discuss one of the finest racing movies of the 2000's in what might be the biggest champion we have had yet!

  • Kingpin (1996)
    Nov 5 2024

It all comes down to this roll. Roy Munson, a man-child, with a dream to topple bowling giant Ernie McCracken. If he strikes, he's the 1979 Odor-Eaters Champion. He's got one foot in the frying pan and one in the pressure cooker. Believe me, as a bowler, I know that right about now, your bladder feels like an overstuffed vacuum cleaner bag and your butt is kinda like an about-to-explode bratwurst.

Sorry was I typing out loud? There are a select few sports movies starring Bill Murray and throw in Woody Harrelson and you have one of the best movies about bowling ever made! But does that make it a Champion?
