Happy September and happy new podcast season of The Wonder Podcast! We are so excited to be back and look forward to hearing from you! Chrissie read CELEBRATION OF DISCIPLINE by Richard J. Foster many years ago and loved it.  Then she joined friends and read it again.  Then she told Lisa to read it.  ☺ Then she suggested we podcast about it so here we are! 

This book, y'all. With over two million copies sold, and counting, this book “has helped millions of seekers discover a richer spiritual life infused with joy, peace, and a deeper understanding of God.”

We will be discussing the 3 categories of disciplines over the next few weeks.  (Inward, Outward, and Corporate.) Today, we tackle the inner disciplines – meditation, prayer, fasting, and study.  Every single discipline Foster covers is applicable to us and the overarching goal of His Lordship in our lives.
