Catalyst Miami: empowering marginalized communities

  • Summary

  • Today we welcome Carolina Fernandez & Alyssa Delgado from Catalyst Miami. The non-profit organization Catalyst Miami was founded in 1996 by Daniella Levine Cava. They invest in communities of color in Miami-Dade to help & empower them against economic & racial injustices created by the system.

Catalyst Miami provides a multitude of services to individuals in situations of crises, but also creates programs to empower & generate more sustainable long-term resources for communities that have been left-out for decades.

Carolina & Alyssa both share what motivated them to join Catalyst Miami, what are the situations they face regularly, and what they are putting in place to help families & people in need.

If you want to support Catalyst, visit their website where you can donate & support them for the upcoming Give Miami Day.
