This is the first chapter of La penúltima voluntad, our new podcast series for advanced learners of Spanish. In each of the 20 episodes, which will be published fortnightly, we’ll listen to a new chapter of the novel and Coffee Break Spanish hosts Mark and Anabel will discuss the latest developments in our story. Throughout the series you will be able to build your vocabulary, develop your understanding of grammar and put your comprehension skills to the test, while following an engaging story.

To take your learning further, there is also an online course version of La penúltima voluntad, which provides access to the written chapter text, annotated notes explaining every word of the chapter, bonus language study audio episodes, a video version of each chapter and our taller lingüístico episode, in which we’ll take some of the language used in the chapter to the next level. Find all these support materials by visiting the Coffee Break Academy.
