    This episode focuses on the topics of consent in the intimate relationships. We explore consent concerns and experiences as it pertains to both younger and mature males.

    About Jason A. Deakings, PhD, MSPH currently serves as the Impact Director for the local non-profit The Hope Buss, Inc. He also works as an adjunct faculty for the University of Pittsburgh. With his role at The Hope Buss, Jason oversees all research, development and grant programming for the organization. As faculty for both the University of Pittsburgh, and formally the University of Louisville, Jason instructed public health courses centered around the social determinants of health and research justice. His guest lectures, speaking engagements and research has been primarily focused on health equity and social justice, specifically for Black women, men and urban youth.

    This Common Conversations, "Let’s Talk About Sex" series focuses on sexual health and demystifying various topics that impact physical, social, and emotional aspects of intimacy. It was developed to address stigma around sexual topics so that the general public can obtain accurate yet relatable content on a variety of sexual health topics. The theme of this program centers on exploring sex as a quality of life issue.
