• Is there a difference between the Old Testament "God" and the New Testament "God"?

Some preachers speak of a difference between the "God" of the Old Testament and the "God" of the New Testament, as if God has changed. These preachers disregard scriptures such as: Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. II Corinthians 5:9-11 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; I Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And in the book of Revelation, we read of that great tribulation, the 14 plagues God will send upon this present earth in the last days before Jesus returns. Revelation 8 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! ***** Revelation 9 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. Matthew 24 Jesus says: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And HE shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. *** Then God destroys the present heavens and the earth: II Peter 3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore...

Dears in Christ, My husband Gianluca - (Italy), has been attacked 2 times, tonight and early this morning with 2 awful mental oppressions, while sleeping, the second worst than the first. Even if we have prayed and taken authority he's still attacked. I ask prayer till the Lord reveals to us what is "the root" of those attacks, those mental oppressions Thank you so much. Refuse to let go. Just keep crying out to God. Joan Boney ***** We cry out to God for help: "Please, God, help me." It is really as simple as that. Trust in God. Wait on God until you receive information. It is very dangerous to look for scripture in such times. Just wait after crying out to God, trusting HIM. God might choose to bring something to your attention to do, or the battle might just end.   • Winning God's way

When we are in the midst of a struggle over an issue of this present life, God will often show us what to do by bringing a thought or concept to our mind whereby we can overcome the evil of this present world. Or God might give us a dream. Regardless, we always overcome through God, by going HIS way in the situation. 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. A businessman defrauded me once concerning a defective television unit. He would not fix the unit although he said he would do so. I kept trying to tune that TV (a plasma) which had wide streaks on the left side of the screen. One day, as I was trying to adjust the TV, the following came to my mind: "You don't have to put up with this." "That's right." I reasoned. And I realized I could afford to replace the TV and just have the unit removed from my house. (The way of peace in this matter.) I bought a new TV that same day and when the installers came to my house to set up the TV, I had the installer carry away the defective TV, not wanting to have it in my house to remind me of that bad situation. When we hear a word from God, we know what to do and we always overcome in the situation by doing what we hear from God, and we rejoice in God who gave us HIS Word on the matter. Sometimes we win by suffering the loss. I Corinthians 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Consider Joseph: God left Joseph in prison for 2 full years after he was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife! Joseph submitted to the authority, and God caused Joseph to prosper even in the prison. Genesis 39 20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper. These are astounding examples for us! We could destroy ourselves by the evil they do against us if we puff up and fight that evil in worldly ways and complain and murmur.   • The sins of Sodom, Sodomites, homosexuals

In the New Testament Bible in Romans 1:26, God calls homosexual and lesbian acts "vile affections." In the Old Testament, when a king of the children of Israel removed the Sodomites from the city, that king was said to be a king who did right in the sight of God. (I Kings 22:43-46) God sent 2 angels to Sodom to destroy the city and all the people except for Lot and his wife and two daughters. When homosexuals came from every quarter of Sodom to have sex with the two angels, Lot said to the men of Sodom, "I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly." (Genesis 19:7) The homosexual acts of the men of Sodom were known to be wicked. And these men of Sodom did not try to hide their homosexual preferences, but they were openly known to be homosexuals, and their wickedness reached God, and God sent the angels to destroy these men and to destroy Sodom and all the people in Sodom. The angel explained to Lot: Genesis 19:12-13 And the men (the angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: 13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it. When the sins become open before all, then the cry "of them" as they flaunt their sin waxes great before God and God deals with their open sins. Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. The time of judgment is upon this world. The Catholic pope announced to the world on October 21, 2020, that same sex marriages would be approved in Catholic church when they were performed in civil ceremonies. The Catholic pope condemns himself and his followers to eternal hell by his approval of sins against God. And such also is the case of protestant preachers who approve sins of the Bible in their church groups. II Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ***** Revelation 22 Jesus says: 11 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. *** Romans 1 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; *** They would not repent ... or could not repent: II Peter 3 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. The first church I attended after I was born again was teaching that tongues are of the devil. I was reading the Bible and came across the following scripture: The apostle Paul said: Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. (I Corinthians 14:39) What do you do when the doctrine being taught at your church differs from that which you read in the Bible? We have to choose. Do we follow our church or do we follow the Bible? At the time we are born again, God gives us HIS Spirit to live in us to teach us all things, to remind us of all Jesus has said to us, to guide us into all truth and to show us things to come. (John 14:26 &16:13) A mighty power of God lives in us. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, * God brings thoughts to our minds by HIS Spirit to show us what to do. * God speaks to us through dreams. * God sometimes gives us an open vision. * Angels are still used by God to deliver instructions. * God gives us special gifts of the Holy Spirit to place us where HE wants us to serve HIM. God has given the believer every advantage on this earth. We grow and thrive through God. ***** The Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in each believer and that Spirit searches the mind of God to show the believer the will of God in the issues pertaining to this present life. II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? I Corinthians 2 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. *** The Holy Spirit of Jesus dwells in us and is with us day and night. We are never left alone. The Spirit teaches us all things, reminds us of all that Jesus has said to us, guides us into all truth, and shows us things to come. (John 14:26 & 16:13) The Holy Spirit of Jesus speaks to us by bringing thoughts, concepts, ideas to our minds so we can know what to do in the specific issues of this present life. And the Word of God also comes to us by dreams, visions, messages sent by angels. Sometimes God just plants HIS will directly into our hearts as is described in the following scripture: Hebrews 8 God says: 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put MY laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to ME a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest. *** John 6 Jesus says: 35 And Jesus said unto them, I (The Word) am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I (The Word) will raise him up at the last day. Jesus comes "with a shout" and the dead in Christ rise first. I Thessalonians 4:16 Then they which are alive on the earth are changed into their spiritual bodies and arise to meet Jesus and the dead who have risen "in the air". And they are taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. Revelation 21:1-5 The great tribulation from God comes to this earth to judge the wickedness of men. Revelation 8-16 Then the heavens and earth as we know it are destroyed by fire from God. II Peter 3:10-14 *** But as long as God chooses to leave us on this present earth, HE guides us and teaches us by the Holy Spirit of Jesus who lives in us and we follow HIM. We do not follow the ideas of man but we follow the Spirit of God and the Holy Scriptures. Therefore we serve God by following HIS Spirit. *** Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds; John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. The Word comes to us today and we follow The Word. *** The kingdom of Jesus is not of this world. John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world,...

God made provision for HIS people, in ways we could never imagine. Elijah, the prophet, was being hunted by wicked Jezebel who vowed to kill Elijah. God provided for Elijah in ways we could never imagine. Today, God provides for us by HIS Spirit by showing us what to do at this exact point in time. When we follow those thoughts brought to us by God, we move into the way of God for us on this present earth, which I believe is soon to suffer the woes of the great tribulation sent by God to judge the wickedness of this world. On this Podcast, I speak a great deal about Joseph who was sold into slavery and how God caused Joseph to profit everywhere Joseph was placed. When we belong to God, God gives us gifts which cause us to prosper in those places where we live. Or God might move us to a new place. Jesus was in heaven with God as "The Word", a spirit. But The Word took on the form of a man to be able to suffer and die for us that we could be saved. Then Jesus was raised from the dead by God and our sins were covered by Jesus' own blood. But some think to crucify Jesus afresh by doing sins after they have had their sins paid for by Jesus' blood. And many religious people today picture a type of human form of Jesus which is to create Jesus again to suffer in the flesh of man. But Jesus is a Spirit as God is a Spirit as the Holy Spirit is Spirit. And Jesus says: John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Jesus is revealed to us today each time the Spirit of Jesus brings "The Word" to our minds so we can know what to do on this present earth. As we do "The Word" we worship God in spirit and in truth. And today Jesus lives in each believer. II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? After Jesus was taken back into heaven, HE appears no more to us on this earth in the form of a man. But HE lives in us and speaks to us by HIS Spirit. Those religious people today who desire to see a human form of Jesus would have Jesus suffer again in the flesh of man. That will not happen. But in the end times, there will be "false Christs" who appear, perhaps in vision, to try to get individuals to do something or to try to get individuals to follow them to some place.
