  • Hailing from Boston, MA, Buffalo Tom formed in 1986 by college friends Bill Janovitz (guitar), Chris Colbourn (bass), and Tom Maginnis (drums). During their initial run, the band released six full-length albums and appeared on numerous soundtracks and compilations before going on hiatus sometime around 2000. The band returned in 2007 and has since released four full-length albums, the most recent being 2024’s Jump Rope.
