Can you imagine the fear that had taken over the disciples while they were on the boat during that storm that Jesus sent them into? Luke 15 contains three companion parables. Each story points to the same truth, that the salvation of a soul is a monumental reason to celebrate and rejoice. The middle story of those three parables contains a unique statement. It says, “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” This message explores that statement in detail.

This past week, our church hosted an annual outreach event that brought in over ten thousand participants. Central to this event over the last twenty-five years has been the gospel, and we have seen hundreds and hundreds of people give their lives to Christ. This message is a reminder that that is worth celebrating.
