  • Ep. 23 - I'd Move, Change My Name, Change My Social Security Number (To All The Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han)
    Mar 7 2023

Welcome back to another week of Books Between Sisters, a book club podcast where you are a member simply by listening!

This week we have To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han.

If you liked the movies 10 Things I Hate About You or She's All That, you probably definitely will like this book.

The story follows Laura Jean a hopeless romantic who probably would like this podcast if she could listen to it. She has never been able to openly admit her crushes so instead she writes love letters to each of them and locks them away. Somehow over the summer her box of letters got mailed out to each of the crushes INCLUDING her sisters ex-boyfriend.

Join us as we talk about the book (obviously), why we would never write letters that were addressed to *any* of our crushes and figure out if were Team Josh or Team Peter.

  • Ep. 22 - Peoplewatching Is Natural (The Girl On The Train - Paula Hawkins)
    Feb 22 2023

Welcome to Books Between Sisters, the podcast where three sisters come together to share their thoughts and opinions on the latest books. In this episode, we dive into Paula Hawkins' thriller "The Girl on the Train."

Rachel, the main character, commutes to and from work every day, passing by the same houses and observing the lives of the people who live there. When one of the women she has been observing goes missing, Rachel becomes entangled in the investigation, struggling to separate reality from her own delusions.

As the story unfolds, we explore the themes of addiction, loss, and the complex nature of memory. We discuss the twists and turns that keep the reader guessing until the very end, and how the book's characters are both flawed and relatable.

Also we talk about Blake Lively being Lily

Come get cozy and read along with us!

  • Ep. 21 - Hungry Hearts by Julie Hoag
    Feb 7 2023

Welcome back to Books Between Sisters!

This week we have a special guest with us, author of the book Hungry Hearts, Julie Hoag. Being a mother, blogger, food lover, and podcaster are just a few of the hats that Julie Hoag wears, she also is an author. This week we look into her latest book, Hungry Hearts , a YA Romance novel that really showcases her love and talent for food as well as deals with some heavy topics that young adults deal with, like anorexia.

We also talk to her about her book 40 Ways To Honor Your Mom After She Has Passed Away, a wonderful guide that helps those dealing with grief and the loss of a mother.

Come sit down, grab a copy, and listen in as we talk with Julie about her family and what these stories mean to her personally. We talk about her own experiences with dealing with the loss of a mother, as well as how her love for food helped her make a book that is about cooking. (Maybe make some food first though, the descriptions are delicious.)
