  • When the Miami Dolphins head to Indianapolis for Sunday’s game against the Colts, they will see on the other sideline a man with deep connections to South Florida. Colts’ defensive line coach Charlie Partridge led Florida Atlantic’s football team for three years before heading to the NFL. Taking over a team that hadn’t had a winning season in five years, his record with the Owls stood at 9-27 when he left. However, he brought to Boca Raton many of the players who went on to post an 11-3 record and swept its conference schedule. Partridge sat down with the Best Florida Sports Podcast’s Max Shepman to talk about the difference between the college and pros. The Plantation-native also talked about what it is like to face the team he grew up rooting for – as well as what it will take to beat them.
