Blue Murder Talks - Lucy Wade - Raising Awareness of Domestic Abuse

  • Summary

  • Hello everyone and welcome to the latest episode of Blue Murder Talks. We weren’t aware previously, but October is domestic abuse awareness month here in the UK and during Crimecon last month we had the pleasure of meeting Lucy Wade, a leading campaigner for domestic abuse awareness and we wanted to do our bit in raising awareness.

Lucy works tirelessly to raise awareness of the difficult subject of domestic abuse. Her business and website You Don’t Own Me or YDOM.co.uk , is a “one-stop shop” helping people find useful resources, support services and access to knowledge shared by professionals.

Lucy also has a cracking podcast, Dip in and Out With Lucy, where she has some fascinating chats with domestic abuse professionals and survivors, you will be engrossed, we promise.

We hope you enjoy this episode where we chat with Lucy about all the great work she does and learn all about this dark subject that affects many of us, how it doesn't discriminate between young and old, rich or poor, men and women, and how it affects the whole family.
