The Bimbos return to The Wicked King for the second part of their first-ever two-part episode! Last time, they talked all about the plot, characters, and the best and worst parts of the book. Now, you get to find out what they would change about the story if they were in charge, what essay they might write about it if they still had to write essays, and, most importantly, which character they want to f**k. WAR, what is it good for? Creating entertaining literature, of course, and boy is this week’s book entertaining. In this episode, the Bimbos finish their adventure through the magical realm of Prythian with A Court of Wings and Ruin. This journey has seen Feyre evolve from a starving hunter suffering from stockholm syndrome to the High Lady of the Night Court fighting to save fae and humankind from the threat of Hybern - well, theoretically fighting… Will this book that’s so about war that its acronym literally contains the word finally have enough bloodshed in it to satiate the Bimbo’s appetites for suffering? 

In their longest episode yet, the bimbos tackle the sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury. In this book, Feyre ditches her first instalment goody two shoes blonde love interest for her second instalment dark-haired broody boy love interest. This book is beloved by the fandom and “bad boy” Rhys is almost universally considered to be a massive upgrade from “not a bad boy just kind of a bad person Tamlin”, but will the bimbos agree or will they be courting controversy?

In A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Mass, our protagonist Feyre takes a dangerous but delightful journey into the legendary and mysterious seven faerie kingdoms of Prythian. This book combines two of the Bimbo's favourite things, fairies and fairytale retellings. So, will this be a love story to last the ages or will our happy ever after turn out to just be a hairy beast?

This week the Bimbos are talking about one of Ruby's favourite books, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. As the ensemble cast of angels, demons, witches, witchfinders, and the actual Antichrist take on the challenge of averting Armageddon, Millie takes on the equally difficult challenge of navigating her worst bits section without breaking Ruby's heart. Be prepared for a lot of blasphemy.
