Zech. 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; (There’s a capital T in The & Branch is spelled in all capital letters, and so is the name LORD) and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:”
Sounds like Jesus is the Branch.

    Cross Reference
Isaiah 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.” Sounds like Jesus.

Zechariah 6:15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.”

This means that the temple will be rebuilt, and you must return to God, and God will return to you.

Hello, I'm Gail Nobles. Welcome to Bible Verse, Think on this.

    Isaiah 56:7
“Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall beaccepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”

    Mark 11:17

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

The Lord has a house of prayer.

  • Heavenly Jerusalem & Mount Sion 9:23:23 1.16 PM

We've got to keep in mind that there is a heavenly Jerusalem. It is described in Revelation chapter 21:1-2. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Then you can read down further. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, ..

22 And I saw no temple therein*: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Revelation is telling us about a new heaven and a new earth which is the new Jerusalem where God dwells. There is no sorrow. The old world with all the sin and troubles will pass away.

Then Hebrews chapter 12:22 talks about Mount Sion. S-I-O-N. 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,..

We know there is an earthly city of Jerusalem called Mount Zion now. But where the throne of the Lord is, there is a heavenly city. There is a heavenly Mount Zion at the throne of God Almighty. It is the true Zion at the throne of God.

The Old Testament let us know there is a future glorious Zion were the Lord will reign on earth, but the Bible also points out a heavenly Zion were the Lord is now.
