Overview:
Sleep deprivation is a state we’ve all experienced. Whether it be from trying to cram that 5-page essay at 3 AM or staying up all night due to insomnia. It’s a struggle that’s been aggravated by the modern age, where work hours are getting increasingly longer and busier and we’re constantly surrounded by attention-grabbing stimuli. Sleep is, unfortunately, turning into a luxury rather than a crucial aspect of our health.
Our guest for this week is Dr. Meredith Broderick, a triple board-certified neurologist with specializations in sleep medicine and behavioral sleep medicine. She’ll discuss with us various topics related to sleep such as the science behind it, common sleep problems and issues, and methods we can improve our sleep health.
Don’t sleep on this episode for an enlightening discussion on sleep medicine!
