  • While the Russian River avoided the worst of the flooding from the recent storms, some say they’re frustrated with the emergency response. It looks like Bay Area drivers will be digging deeper to cross the 7 state-owned bridges that span the bay. The Thanksgiving holiday is just days away and already, skiers are headed to Lake Tahoe and other ski regions, to take advantage of recent snowfall associated with last week’s atmospheric river. A North Bay animal sanctuary is getting back on its feet after a flood scattered more than 100 small farm animals.
