  • Episode 108: RIP Rich Homie Quan, Ice Spice vs Cleotrapa, Apalachee High School Shooting
    Sep 11 2024

On this week's episode, we kicked things off with a casual conversation on obesity and broke down three simple habits everyone should follow to stay healthy. We also reacted to the recent and unexpected passing of Rich Homie Quan (15:00) and how big of an influence music plays when it comes drug abuse. We later dived into the news of the Apalachee High School shooting (34:15) and couldn't help ourselves from entertaining the idea of teachers being strapped up.

Switching gears, we weighed in on the Ice Spice & Cleotrapa tour drama. (50:30) Of course, no episode is complete without some music talk! We shared our thoughts on Big Sean's and Doechii's new albums (1:04:00), Cole’s verse on the new A$AP Rocky single (1:14:50), and why A$AP Rocky’s secret weapon (Rihanna) might be his only chance to catch another hit (1:19:00). Tune in and enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 107: "Hi, We're Sociopaths" | Revealing Our Low-Vibrational Behaviors & Toxic Traits!
    Sep 5 2024

The OG gang is back with another week of Bad For The Community! We kicked off the show with a hypothetical: "What if someone from the future told you your dreams would never work out?" Would you change up or follow the course? We also talked about secret talents we wish we had, which led to Nate and Tomo freestyling some stand-up comedy. We later spoke on the controversy surrounding Keith Lee's latest DC trip and questioned why people on the internet care so much about random people's opinions. After seeing the viral clip of Dr. Bryant and Cam Newton, Rob has the guys look inward and get honest about their own low-functioning behaviors and toxic traits. It gets real interesting, but you'll just have to tune in to find out! Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 106: "Words Speak Life" | Yanna G on Her New Album, Self-Discovery, and Personal Fulfillment
    Aug 22 2024

We had a beautiful and uplifting conversation on this week's episode with Boston's own, Yanna G! We kicked off the conversation discussing her newly released album "On Everything I Love", how she prioritizes her mental health, and what has been her biggest obstacles as she traverses life as an artist and a young woman.

We later reacted to Tyler the Creator's comments on certain artists taking up space in the music game, specifically those from outside the culture. We even shared our thoughts on Michael Rubin's comments about "Black on Black hate" and whether people should be able to speak on communities that they're not from. We ultimately ended the conversion on a high note, discussing the importance of seeking fulfillment in life and pouring into yourself & the people around you. Enjoy the episode!
