Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Jimena Buena Vida is an abstract artist and mother now based in the United States. With a background in engineering, computer science, plus her Colombian roots, Jimena’s art challenges societal taboos around emotional regulation and mental health, embracing authenticity and inner wisdom. Merging traditional and digital art methods, and her coding skills, her intuitive practice is an exploration of creativity, emotions, and technology. Jimena is a TIMEPieces artist and council member. In July 2023, she became the Artist in Residency at Bright Moments. Her art has been shown globally, from Times Square's massive billboards to countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, and China. Her art can be found in platforms like Bright Moments, Prohibition, fx(hash), Ninfa, and more, with several collections sold out on the Ethereum and Tezos blockchains.

It features an innovative staking mechanism and embodies his vision of providing free Japanese language instruction to the global Black creative community via his NPO, Chiba Center. Additionally, he organised SUGOI, a three-day tech festival during NFT NYC 2022 in Brooklyn. Collaborations with esteemed brands like Chicago Bulls, Mastercard, and LifeWtr on NFT projects underscore his dedication. He founded Studio LOGIK, a Web 3 agency, where he explores the potentials of the decentralised web alongside a diverse clientele. Originally from St. Louis, LOGIK sees himself as part of a larger global community.

Episode 21 - Ricardo Cavolo

Ricardo Cavolo is a Spanish artist with an eclectic style that comes from his relationships with folk art, European medieval iconography, comic books and tribal imagery.

Cavolo’s art is all about stories, characters, and their experiences across time. Utilizing art as a complex narrative, Cavolo often focuses on portraiture and iconography to propel his protagonists to champion their unique tales. Episode 20 - Stephen Bliss

Stephen, a highly acclaimed artist, muralist, and illustrator has cultivated an illustrious career spanning over three decades and three continents. As Senior Artist at Rockstar Games from 2001 to 2016, Bliss is attributed with establishing the highly recognisable illustrative style for the multi-billion dollar Grand Theft Auto franchise, the most lucrative entertainment product of all time. His skills have also extended to other highly lauded games such as The Warriors, LA Noire, and Red Dead Redemption, producing game box covers, international magazine covers, posters, billboards, and promotional merchandise. He also produced an array of non-game-related artwork for Rockstar, contributing to the company's image as a creative powerhouse.

Bliss's artistic expertise is not solely limited to the video game industry. Before joining Rockstar his distinctive design aesthetic secured projects an in-house artist with Japanese fashion brand Hysteric Glamour, Massive Attack, MTV, Nintendo, Pepsi, Sony, GQ, and Burton Snowboards.

Additionally, Bliss painted syndicated comic strips for The Sunday Times/Sunday Telegraph/Guardian and produced his own comic strips for Deadline Comics. Following his departure from Rockstar in 2016, Bliss has devoted his energy to the pursuit of fine art, holding solo exhibitions in London, New York, and LA, and displaying his talents as a muralist on projects in NYC, Miami, and Guam.

His latest project Fear City, a NFT series on the Ethereum blockchain, originally six characters with 3333 unique creations, has grown int a 24 page comic NFT, VR social media filters, a web 3 clothing line, and irl projects, including a collaboration with Jeff Staple, and the upcoming issue of a physical Fear City comic (with Scout Comics). With his visionary approach to art and boundless creativity, Stephen Bliss continues to captivate audiences and inspire fellow artists worldwide, firmly establishing himself as a celebrated icon in the art world.

Crixtover Edwin is a visual artist and poet living in Lagos, Nigeria. Crixtover seeks to depict a celebratory narrative and draw attention to the distinctive celebration of people of colour by addressing their image, status, and relevance in society.

Heavily influenced by Basquiat and Kehinde Wiley, his work serves as a catalogue and channel for thoughts, ideas, and experiences that are inspired by events in his life as well as those around him, spanning representation, documenting culture, and black identity.

His work has been recognized by Ms. Tina Lawson, Angela Bassett, Time, Target, Nordstrom, and Samuel L. Jackson.
