  • Beim Linzer Ars Electronica Festival für Kunst, Technologie und Gesellschaft sind von 4. bis 8. September unter anderem die Gewinnerinnen und Gewinner des ersten STARTS Prize Africa zu sehen. Damit zeichnet die Europäische Kommission Projekte aus, die zur positiven Entwicklung und digitalen Transformation der Kulturbranche in Afrika beitragen. Die südafrikanischen Kunstschaffenden Russel Hlongwane, Amy Louise Wilson und Francois Knoetze erhalten eine Auszeichnung für ihr künstlerisches Forschungs-projekt „Dzata: The Institute of Technological Consciousness.“ Ö1-Redakteurin Hannah Balber hat mit Russel Hlongwane und Amy Louise Wilson gesprochen.
