Antares appears as a single star when viewed with the naked eye, but it is actually a binary star, with its two components called Scorpii A and Scorpii B. Scorpii A is the red giant that is visible to the naked eye. Alpha Scorpii B is a smaller, hotter main-sequence star that has a blue-white appearance. Antares (Scorpii A) is a red supergiant star in the constellation Scorpius and is the brightest star in that constellation. Often referred to as "the heart of the scorpion," it has a diameter 700 times larger than the Sun and is 10,000 times more luminous than our Sun.

Regarding the spiritual significance of Antares, it is a star portal connecting the Andromeda Galaxy to our Galaxy. This stargate has a more feminine energy than its counterpart in Arcturus. The Antarians are a non-physical race, and they are gateway keepers for this portal to Andromeda.
