Animal Crossing Chat - Let's Switch Gears

  • Summary

  • We wanted to take a break from the film reviews this episode and talk about the latest pandemic phenomena, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

At first I thought this was a game for children, and to some extent, that's true. But I couldn't ignore how many of my friends were oddly obsessed with this little Nintendo Switch game that found its niche, or nook, as millions of people sit trapped indoors.

We gave it a go and have been playing it almost non-stop since! In fact, taking the time to work on this is costing me bells! [Uhm, that's the currency in Animal Crossing . . . we get into that, and more, in the show]

So, if you have no idea "what's up" with #AnimalCrossing or #ACNH - we break it down for you.

Here's some of the show's highlights:

    • How did we get into this game?
    • Why is my island called Sanzpeech!
    • Nintendo is making bank during this pandemic.
    • What are residents, and why are they amazing?
    • Switch vs. Switch Lite.
    • Events are always happening.
    • Which residents do you love or love to hate?

As always, we hope you enjoy this episode, and please check us out on Podchaser and rate and review our show!
