Andy's KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ is not the sequel for Andy Farnsworth

  • Summary

  • Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of October 10, 2024. While the highly anticipated sequel "Joker: Folie a Deux" finally arrived in theaters, it was just not something Andy enjoyed, especially “With nary a Batman to be found." But the family film "Monster Summer" was enjoyable, even with some dark, scary-adjacent themes. Andy’s favorite was “White Bird," an emotionally engaging story about the power of kindness and actively choosing it. And we can’t forget streaming options. On Netflix, there's also a bit of Halloween-related "fun" that's new...a 30-minute cartoon short called "The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist" that your kids will like better than you will.

The brains behind Fan Effect are connoisseurs of categories surpassing nerdy with a goal to publish a weekly "What to Watch on the Weekend" minisodes, taken from KSL-TV's Friday segment, and two deep-dives a month on shows, creative works, artists, local events, and other fandom topics.

Based in the beautiful beehive state, Fan Effect celebrates Utah's unique fan culture as it has been declared The Nerdiest State in America by TIME, and is hosted by KSL Movie Show's Andy Farnsworth and KSL Podcasts' KellieAnn Halvorsen.
