Andrea Hirshman: Understanding What's Fueling The Conflict

  • Summary

  • Andrea Hirshman is a Divorce Mediator and Collaborative Divorce Attorney. After graduating law school she worked as a family lawyer in the courts and saw how the adversarial divorce process hurts families. She knew there had to be a saner approach and so, moved into mediation and collaborative law.

Andrea's own family endured a very difficult divorce when she was a child. One of her proudest achievements was the successful mediation of the conflict between her parents 40 years after their divorce.

Andrea has two young adult sons and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and rescue Yorkie, Gustopher.
