When it comes to understanding the Christian walk we must understand that that discipleship is a non-negotiable for all believers, including those in Ministry. We must stay connected to the body of believers, put ourselves in environments to learn and be poured into as well. If we do not we are dangerously close to living a life that is contradictory to what we teach.

In every arena of life we assume that those who profess something are also living it out. How much more so when it comes to ministry? On today's podcast episode we are going to take a look at how important it is that we also live out what we are teaching.

In 1 John 1:1-4, John makes it clear that only in Christ can we find true joy. Christians who have this joy should understand that we will always be tempted to replace the joy that Christ brings with the fabricated joy that the world offers.
