They enjoy being part of a family and, when well-socialized, can be good with children as well as other pets. They are however active and playful all the time so engaging them in physical and mental activities is a good practice. The American Bully is a new breed that developed in the United States within the last two decades. In most cases, it was designed for the owners’ pleasure and thus strains from several breeds especially the s American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire dogs; most Italian bulldogs as well. This breed was created to showcase the features of these dogs but with an application of pleasantly active and friendly temperament.

Relative to size, the American Bully is a medium-framed, stocky muscular dog with a well-built, compact body. It has a thickset head and short muzzle, with high cheekbones and short, velvety fur that quite often leads to confusion, the Pit Bull look alike. The common varieties of this breed differ in sizes, which are further subdivided into four varieties, that is, Pocket, Standard, Classic, and XL. This breed may appear fierce but its personality is affectionate gentle and loyal hence it is a good friend and a family dog.

Otherwise Known as an Ideal Dog, The American Bully is one of the pet dogs that is very affectionate and protective towards its owner and has a good ability to please its owner if all its emotional and physical needs are addressed.
