America Is Lost: Episode Six, Roll Call of Poets

  • Summary

  • The title for this episode is the same as it appears in the 1984 manuscript. There is only one item in this episode that may be significantly prophetic. The reference to "the gates" may be a prediction of the naming of an art gallery and biblical museum that was not built until 2016-2017. Currently supported as one of the exclusively represented artists by Polyet Loshad Publishing, Mary L. Haley is a relative of the poet and named her art gallery "The Gates." She never knew that this poetry existed, and she only read the text in November 2020 after the presidential election was over. The other significance to the poetry in this episode may only be determined by reading the text because some of the art in poetry is only visualized in the text.

The release of this episode was originally intended for 31 October 2023 to coincide with Halloween because this episode is rather spooky. However, advancing the release dates has become important as a result of current events which could limit the availability of the series due to the apocalypse, which could occur at any moment because of Joe Biden's blundering foreign policies. Now, that is spooky. In any case, it seemed more important for "the show to go on" as the old adage says.
