The QMJHL trade period closed on Monday and now the rosters are set for the rest of the season (barring signings of free agents or draft picks).

Steve and Patrick go through what all 18 teams in the Q did and not only how it affects them for the rest of this season but for the future as well!

Ryan Switzer is back after the holiday break to talk some WHL trade deadline rumours and what has happened so far. Ryan and Steve also touch on the 38th anniversary of the Swift Current Broncos bus crash which claimed the lives of four players and the lasting impact on the Swift Current community nearly four decades on.

Also Canada lost to who at the WJC?!?!?

Kevin Jordan is back as he and Steve look back on their AHL & ECHL trips from the 2023-24 season. But before we get to that Kevin reacts to the QMJHL officially returning to his former Newfoundland home while the guys also discuss if USA hockey has a leg to stand on with trying to block Youngstown and Muskegon from joining the OHL.

We head back to the QMJHL with Patrick McNeil this week and all we can talk about is moving. The QMJHL trade window is open and already lots of players have been moved, but who is still set to be moved? Also, the rumours continue to swirl about the Acadie Bathurst Titan moving to Newfoundland and it sounds like an official announcement will be made this week! The QMJHL may only have two players on team Canada at the WJC but plenty of other players have cracked rosters for other nations!

The Saga of two USHL teams possibly joining the OHL continues while a boat load of OHL talent have been chosen for Team Canada camp ahead of the world juniors and the Steve's have no idea who to cut. London's winning streak is over while the Petes have gotten on a roll.

Meanwhile the greatest teddy bear toss moment in league history took place in Ottawa while the one in Sarnia caused some controversy.
