  • Beach Volleyball is again on the Tokyo 2020ne Olympic Games schedule and looking to top their Bronze from Rio are the Dutch World Champions of 2013 Alexander Brouwer & Robert Meeuwsen.

    They join Lewie and Ci to discuss their memories of the 2016 Games, how it felt to qualify early for Tokyo 2020 and their expectations for a Games which is inevitably going to be different. As always Ci Digs in, while we also challenge the guys so some player vs player questions and get to know them far beyond their on-court performances. In terms of Volleyball chat, the guys talk about their journey so far, recent results, as well as the influence of their staff and support network.

    With half the combined Beach teams coming from Europe, there will be plenty to cheer on as they all take to the sand at a 12,000-capacity custom-built temporary stadium in the Japanese capital's magnificent Shiokaze Park – an event which is sure to be one of the visual highlights of the Games once again.
