(@lisaajaster) Reserve Army engineer officer Lieutenant Colonel Lisa Jaster (@lisaajaster) was one of the first three women to graduate from the elite and arduous US Army Ranger school, one of the world's most physically and mentally challenging leadership courses. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and a master’s in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. She has multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving two bronze stars as well as a combat action badge. She is currently part of the Army Reserve Element for Joint Staff out of Norfolk, VA. Outside of her military accomplishments, Lisa is a partner at Talent War Group, a leadership development and executive search firm where she focuses on executive coaching, leadership seminars, and keynote speeches. In January, Lisa published “Delete the Adjective: A Soldier’s Adventure in Ranger School,” making the Amazon best sellers list in the first week. Today, she lives in New Braunfels, Texas, but she originally hails from beautiful Plymouth, WI.
