ABOUT SAMI
Sami is a leader of international foresight and strategy with incredible insight into the technologies that shape our lives, organisations and societies.
Back in the 90s, Sami played a key role in building the early online commerce and banking platforms in North America and Europe before moving to the telecommunications sector where he spent several years at Nokia.
After relocating to Australia, Sami held senior roles at Telstra, where he created the Strategic Foresight practice focusing on long-term technology trends and how they impact business, industry and society.
Sami is now a Research Affiliate at the Institute for the Future, a Senior Industry Fellow at RMIT FORWARD and CEO of Transition Level.
Sami describes himself as an extreme learner, and his current research includes the “mindful application of Artificial Intelligence”, the impact of automation on skill degradation and architecting for resilience.
