A Woman Called Mother

By: Jessica Laurel Kane
  • Summary

  • My mother passed unexpectedly in 2016. She was brilliant and hysterically funny but also suffered a lot. In A Woman Called Mother, I share the stories and scenes I collected from our time together, and also the stories and scenes I’ve been collecting from my present perspective since becoming a mother myself.

I’m taking a break from posting because I’m working on finishing my memoir about my relationship with my mother. I will update once I have a release date for the book. Thank you!

(I also have a podcast for kids and parents called Once Upon an Upset.)
