A Film so Weird It Works (Psycho Goreman/Greener Grass)

  • Summary

  • filmmakers often push the bounds of cinematic creativity through weird films. However, weird films can be a bit of a gamble since the obscurity doesn't always land. But boy oh boy, when it lands, it lands hard.

In our fourth episode of the Fox Den Film Club we each discuss a film that is so weird it works. For those who are seeking absurd comedy, these picks might just do the trick!

Jake selected Greener Grass (2019, dir. Jocelyn DeBoer, Dawn Luebbe).

Mitch selected Psycho Goreman (2020, dir. Steven Kostanski).

As always, it is not necessary to have seen either of these films prior to listening – but watching along with us could make it more fun! We try our best to avoid spoilers.

Enjoy and welcome to the Fox Den Film Club!
