92. Improv & Music in Japan with JinJin

  • Summary

  • It's another bonus episode! This week I'm joined by my dear friend JinJin from back in Japan. We reminisced about the time we performed an improv show at a hostel in the middle of nowhere to an audience of Chinese tourists with me only speaking English, the other 2 only speaking Japanese, and the tourists speaking neither, somehow it was actually a really fun show. We catch up on how JinJin has been and what kind of shows he is performing on as an improviser and musician in Japan, as well as how he got interested in Improv, as well as what's the difference between stand-up, rakugo, and manzai. It was a great little catch up and JinJin is just an amazing guy, so positive and enthusiastic, he always gives 110%.
