9 - Celebration For All

  • Summary

  • Resilience Squadron is a monthly podcast where Greg Norman and Jack Vasvary share and discuss great stories related to disability, chronic illness, and mental health within the Star Wars fandom.

It’s Celebration time. In this episode Greg and Jack are joined by Terrie Lee, who co-created the Facebook group Star Wars Celebration ADA Attendees, as they have an in-depth discussion with Austin Whitney, CEO of Ten Fifty Entertainment, who is handling accommodations for Celebration 2022 in Anaheim on May 26-29. Austin tells us about how his experiences with music festivals and other events helped him adjust to his own disability, shares his approach and philosophy for running inclusive events, and answers specific questions about accommodations at Celebration.
