  • デルポイにあるアポロン神殿の巫女が語った「ソクラテス以上に知恵のある者はいない」というお告げの言葉。ソクラテスはその言葉が意味するところを理解するため、市井の知者たちとの議論を交わします。その際に彼がとったのが、「エレンコス（吟味）」と呼ばれる対話のスタイルです。

    エレンコスはいかに行われたか？なぜソクラテスは、エレンコスを重視したのか？その哲学的な価値とは？『ラケス』で描かれる「勇気」についての対話をもとにソクラテスの哲学的営みの具体的な相に焦点を当てていきます。
