It’s been AGES! So sorry for the major life hiatus (A LOT has been happening for us both personally), but we are back and ready to provide you with a cool way to support conservation! As tribute to an incredible mentor, leader and conservationist, Dr. Jennifer Mickelberg, in this episode, we chat about the primate species she dedicated much of her life to, the Golden Lion Tamarin. Join us as we sip on conservation-driven spirits and coffee brews while discussing the importance of saving GLTs and teaching others to do the same.
Today’s episode discusses interesting facts about Golden Lion Tamarins, why they are so important, what is threatening them, how you can help, and some organizations working hard to educate people and protect GLTs. Linked here you can find all the organizations we mentioned and discussed as well as many other resources with more information on protecting GLTs. Thank you for listening! If you are feeling inspired, leave a comment and let us know what conservation issue you want to hear more about from us!
