Boat Command brings their post lofi space beats to this episode of the broadcast on 7/12 to promote the show they're playing 7/15 to promote the album they're releasing on 7/14. Lots of groove, Moog influence, funky, fresh, somehow classic and futuristic at the same time... At least, that's how they have sounded. So far, the new album is a mystery to the world but maybe we'll get some sneak peek performances this week!
About 8(pm) Note: An hour of chattin' and and hour of jammin' with Asheville musicians. Guests and host Sam Irvin share notes about gear, grooves and genres before performing live (usually improvised) tunes just for fun! This is an opportunity to explore the studio, get to know the community better and to get creative for creativity's sake.
