Everyone should hear this!

I wish my daughters and I had listened to something like this years ago. We were see-the-best-in-everyone and love-and understanding-will-always-triumph empaths who didn’t see the red flags soon enough. Like you we were naive trusting souls who had never encountered such cunning and cruelty. Now my daughter is in a relationship with a man that the dv professionals have profiled as “the type of coercive control and mental violence he uses is so subtle that usually you never even know there’s a problem until there’s a murder suicide and it’s all over the front page.” Her solicitor said this to my daughter just before she went back to her partner and cut all ties with me. He has threatened her that he will shoot me. (I’m the only one who is strong enough to stand up for her so he and his family and their religious group have totally isolated her from me.) Only weeks after my daughter went back to him the news was full of your darling Hannah and my heart broke for you! and trembles for my daughter and my family. Oh how I wish we had known this type of evil comes veiled so smooth and subtle.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
