Nel frattempo emerge una testimonianza importante. Il primario del Sert di Frosinone racconta di aver appreso da alcuni tossicodipendenti, il giorno successivo al ritrovamento di Serena, che il responsabile del delitto è il figlio del maresciallo di Arce. Una testimonianza che viene trascurata. Intanto, però, ad Arce arriva un nuovo maresciallo in sostituzione a Mottola, Evangelista. Questi è fermamente intenzionato a riprendere il caso di Serena dall'inizio. E subito si imbatte in una porta misteriosamente ammaccata all'interno della caserma.
