4PM: Wild Wild NIL West

  • Summary

  • Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton and Molly Brown come for their final show together of the week with Matt & Molly out Thursday and Friday. They discuss the most recent Jordan Love health updates from Adam Schefter on Jen, Gabe and Chewy and Matt LaFleur at today's press conference. Who else is injured heading into this week's game versus the Vikings, and who can't they afford to lose against Minnesota. First, they welcome in young producer Riley Jauch, who will best ESPN Madison's on-field correspondent for the Badgers game out at USC! But, will Riley actually make it in time to the LA Coliseum if he's leaving Chicago at 3:30am on Saturday morning, and will his trip to LA to cover college football go better than Jim's infamously crappy train ride to the Rose Bowl? Is flying after partying a wise travel plan, and what are the worst places to be drunk (ie children's birthday party, church and....)? Mark Tauscher joins the show discuss the Packers versus Vikings and give some of his thoughts on this week's most recent NIL controversy at UNLV. First, they discuss the Packers chances versus the Vikings if they're with or without Jordan Love, and is Molly Brown being pessimistic or realistic if she's nervous about winning with Malik Willis? Jim also debates Tausch on the value of a play-caller or a coach when asking if Matt LaFleur or Jordan Love is more valuable for the Packers over the next 10 years? And, Tausch can't understand why a Bears fan like Jim can't understand the growing pains of a young QB. Plus, what are Tausch's thoughts on today's breaking NIL news story with UNLV quarterback Matt Sluka choosing to redshirt the rest of the season after claiming he didn't receive anywhere close to the money he was promised when transferring to Vegas. In today's Minute to Win It, Jim and Primetime test Matt & Molly on the collegiate athletes with the top-10 NIL valuations!
