  • 今週は長崎県雲仙市「小浜町」にフォーカス。タカラモノを紹介してくれるのは、自然エネルギー財団 上級研究員の山東晃大さんです。--長崎伝統のお盆行事といえば、「精霊流し」です。お盆の前に亡くなった人の遺族が故人の霊を弔うために、毎年8月15日に手作りした船を曳きながら街中を練り歩き、極楽浄土へ送り出すという長崎を象徴するお盆の風景です。船の数は長崎市ほど多くはありませんが、小浜でも精霊船が爆竹の音と担ぎ手の掛け声と共に街を練り歩き、港まで運ばれます。夏の終わりをを告げる小浜の風物詩「精霊流し」。地域の皆さんと観光地として新しいことに挑戦しつつ、このような先人たちの想いと魂と共に未来へ残していきたい伝統行事だと思います。---
