    Bio & Intro
My guest, Tehran, is a comedian, actor, and entertainer. Tehran has a residency at the Laugh Factory on Sunset in Hollywood. Tehran was born in DC but named after the capital of Iran. He leans in to his 1/2 Black 1/2 Persian background in his comedy. He has his law degree and a background in economics and political science, so his comedy on racial relations is incisive and inclusive. Tehran is a TV and radio host. He has also acted in several film projects including Dane Cook's American Typecast which I really enjoyed. He regularly tours with with Maz Jobrani. I caught them recently at Flappers, and Tehran's comed pulls audiences with the light jokes teasing the bro in the front row and then makes us rethink core assumptions about the Mideast Crisis in the next breath. He inspires me with how he devotes a lot of energy to shows and tours with a focus on world peace and uniting people together through laughter.
