  • Summary

  • When we cry in the presence of others, we tend to apologize: “Oh, I’m sorry I’m crying,” as if we are embarrassed by our tears. Many children, especially boys, often hear adults say, “Stop crying.” But actually, it’s okay to cry. We’ve just been conditioned to believe that it’s better not to cry or to hide our tears. But crying can be healing; in a way, we need it.

It’s okay to cry, and this episode is about that. I explore why crying is natural and healing and why we should embrace it rather than suppress it.

    Enjoy!
