It's Special Operations Training in Kentucky. It's January. We're on the river. It's well below freezing. We're standing on the river bank with orders to break the ice and enter the frigid water. Once in we the boat, we must flip the boat while floating down the river and avoiding life threatening dangers and regain entry and complete the mission. When your boat flips.... stay together, protect each other, don't drop the oars and communicate. COMPLETE YOUR MISSION!

This mission was more than about technical skills, it was about having a shared sense of purpose with your team. As long as everyone is on the same page, communicates, and looks out for each other, the mission will be completed. This shared sense of purpose is what you can develop and rely on. Be it your work crew, family, friends, etc... When your boat flips.... stay together, protect each other, don't drop the oars and communicate. COMPLETE YOUR MISSION!
