#123 - Learning the Hard Way - With Christos Kalogiru

  • Summary

  • Christos understood at a very young age that he was the kind of person who was always going to learn the hard way, and to make life even more challenging he was also diagnosed with ADHD. As you can imagine Christos was like any boy rambunctious, full of energy and spunk. This of course caused problems from time to time which resulted in his expulsion from the private boarding school he attended. To this day he is the only student to be admitted to this prestigious school, expelled, and re-invited back to where he would graduate. Learning the hard way seems to have worked for him since he's turned his life around from those early days. He's the author of "Wild Dogs: An Adventure in Adolescence" It's his story of how he navigated through those most difficult years and came out on top. The book is dedicated to a classmate who passed away far too soon. All the proceeds go to helping match up bone marrow donors to the recipients. I applaud him for such a noble gesture. As always we had a lot of fun and I know you will too. Book: https://www.amazon.com/Wild-Dogs-Adolescence-Christos-Kalogirou/dp/1544521960
