Welcome to another episode of Vulnerabilities with Devon Vox, thank you for being vulnerable with us! We have a very special episode today as we continue in our reaction based deep discussions: 1st video…dogs make Wixx cry. Well technically…all animals in their natural happy habitat make Wixx cry but that’s neither here nor there xD
The 1st video has a husky in a Chucky costume chasing a cat…what more could you ask for?! This video morphs into a full blown conversation about how difficult (BUT WORTH IT) it is to raise a husky. Which inevitably shifts to talking about the freaking hair!
2nd video isn’t how we would go about effectively exiting a conversation you don’t want to be in…but that’s only because we don’t have a doorbell xD This video leads us into a surprisingly vulnerable conversation about Irish Goodbyes, unexpected people pleasing and masking.
The 3rd video is from a creator we will continue to see more of. This video is a 2-character video about validating past pain. This is from the perspective of a romantic relationship but this applies to every single interaction we have with the people in our lives whether we realize it or not. To explain the video, person #1 is in a counselor session explaining the ramifications of a recent breach in trust. Person #1 is very concerned and upset about the reactions they are getting from their partner and they are practicing vulnerability with person #2, the therapist. This video launches us into a full blown conversation about how to properly express pain your partner previously caused, how to navigate high emotional situations when both people are on the verge of feeling unheard/unseen/unsupported, and how to ultimately put situations that have caused immense pain effectively behind you.
