#12 (Part 1) Conquering his passion and overcoming the competition - MS in Computer Science!

  • Summary

  • Computer science (CS) is one of the most sought-after fields of study and one of the most competitive too (acceptance rates at leading programs are usually 10-15%, and can be as low as 2%!). Over 90% of prospective master’s students that approach me want to pursue a master’s in computer science or one of its sub-domains at a highly-reputed university in the US.

In this week’s episode (divided into two parts) on #afterthemaster, Roshan discusses how competitive CS admissions and securing employment can be, especially for international students. He further talks about nearly securing an internship at a massive #tech company and the attitude he developed, which helped him tremendously later.
